Lisbon Heart Santa Marta Apartment

The apartment was super clean, the kitchen was super well equipped for cooking whatever you want. We had complimentary sour bread for making toasts for breakfast, also milk, fruits and coffee. The location is great, you are just minutes away from the Avenida which is beautiful and plenty of luxury shops. The area seemed really safe, and there are supermarkets with great variety offered to cook at home as well.

Walking distance to old center sits on a flat, and wide street. Along the way, there are many nice shops and vendors. The apt is on the first floor so we don't have to carry our luggage. One of us able to sleep in the living room couch. It is quiet, and comfortable. Cross the street has a little convenience store. In person is batter than in photos.

The host was very kind, we arrived earlier than check-in time and Antonio arranged for our luggage to be kept in a separate location while our room was available. Then he moved our luggage to the apartment while we were already enjoying Lisbon, an even sent us a picture of so! The apartment is only a couple of blocks away from Metro Avenida Station. Walking to Lisbon's main squire is some 20 minutes, most of major attractions are really close. Santa Clara elevator is only 10 minutes away walking. There is even an Aldi a block away. It was a very pleasant stay, all check-in and check-out is done remotely with the keys in a box locker, just need to leave the city tax in cash and the keys at the exit and it is done! Will definitely recommend to friends and family and return to Antonio's Lisboa Heart Santa Marta apartment.

Had a warm welcome from Antonio, who was very helpful and kind on making sure your stay was best he could do. Room was perfect for what we needed, shower was perfect, hot water. Bed was comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed and a great price! :) 1 minute from a small supermarket for local needs 3 minutes from underground train line that take you to centre, but we did the walk and it took 30minutes and tbh we got to see more hidden gems so would recommend that unless you want to get somewhere quicker.

Great apartment, great location, very clean, very responsive host; the apartment had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. I saw some people commented on the size of the apartment. We are 4 small and medium people with 4 pieces of carry-on luggage, so the size of the apartment was perfect for us. We did not rent a car as the apartment location is very convenient. We took a taxi from the airport (12 euros). We were buying all our grocery at Aldi (a big grocery store in the Tivoli shopping mall) which is only a 5 min walk (250 m) from the apartment. On the first day, we walked along Avenue da Liberdade towards the shore and visited lots of points of interests along the way and then watched the sunset at Cais das Colunas. When we went to Sintra, we just walked to the train station (Rossi), which is only 11 min away from the apartment. Again, great location.

Everything was great, but keep in mind that the building is old (although the apartment is fully renovated and nice), but the entrance door to the building is narrow. If you are a bid person, you may not like it.

great location and facilities. 5 minutes from buses and metro. Apartment was ideal and suited our needs, our host was fab and we were able to drop our bags before our apartment was ready. Thanks 👍
