"Warm and welcoming weekend away"

Everything we needed for a cosy, relaxing, walking weekend with our dog. Trails from the doorstep, a cosy log burning stove, all the conveniences of home in a compact and comfortable cottage. The hosts were so warm and welcoming we really felt genuinely at home. Top tip: bring pound coins for the electricity meter.

"Brilliant spot"

Beautiful place, spotlessly clean and cosy. The cottage had everything you could need and was a short walk from Hares Gap trail. A short drive to Newcastle town centre, Tollymore and Castlewellan.

Ideal location for exploring the Mournes and Tullymore Forest without having to drive. The hosts were very friendly and informative. As a sole lady traveller it felt a very safe place to stay. The property was lovely, had everything I needed. Warm and very comfortable. I will definitely be staying again. Thanks for a lovely 5 days.

Nothing, even my dog loved it.

"Perfect place to stay for peace and tranquility"

Location was perfect for the mountains and the seaside. It took an hour to drive into the Republic of Ireland and an hour to Belfast.
