A cosy place in the heart of the Mournes

Really cannot say enough good things about this place. The accommodation is super cosy (the log fire is a lovely touch). Everything you need was there, kitchenette had all the utensils you'd need, hob, fridge, oven etc. The location is second to none, the views even from the windows are spectacular and within a 10 minute drive you can literally be in the middle of the Mournes. The hosts were amazing and so communicative and very kind. Thank you Emma and Luka, will definitely be back!

Reading previous reviews I cannot believe I stayed in the same place. The cottage was extremely tiny and not cosy as stated. I am an asthma sufferer, I couldn’t sleep on the first night due to the smell of damp and mould, it was also very cold, in the beautiful weather we had to light a fire. I therefore due to health issues I had to leave the next day and book alternative accommodation. I have never stayed in a worse place. To top it all off paying the high rental price we also had to pay for electricity. Dog friendly not, not secure to let my dog out. I am seeking a full refund for this booking.

Uncomfortable bed and not really pet friendly.

The little house was cute, clean and comfortable, it had all we needed for our stay and it is dog friendly, which is our number one requirement, since we always travel with our dog. The views from the property are stunning and it's so quiet and peaceful, it was just a gorgeous location. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they gave us some good advice on what to see and where to go during our stay. We made friends with the lovely tabby cats outside and we rescued the prettiest, tiny, little frog that came to visit one morning and we released it on the grass outside ♥️

Really cosy and charming cottage in a great location and with a lovely atmosphere. To sit at the table and look at that view with just the sound of the woodfire was something special.

The radiator in the sitting room didn't seem to be working but I lit the stove with the fire wood provided so all was good

Great location to the forest and mountains.

Perfect locations for Mournes and Tollymore.
