The apartment is away from the touristy centre and crowds, but you can easily get to the centre by taxi or uber (public transportation was not very convenient and metro was not close). It is located in a residential area, so not a lot of food options and surprisingly no supermarkets that we saw, but it seemed like a safe area at least. The apartment has a washing machine, which can be very useful if you are away from home for a lengthy period.

First of all, the apartment was very expensive especially for what we got. On top of this, they told us we have to pay a tourist fee, which is understandable, and a 250 EUR security deposit, which I have never seen or heard of before. The person who handed out the apartment keys, seemed nice but did not know anything about the apartment. After check-in, we discovered that the apartment has a lot of issues and we had to deal with that instead of enjoying our stays. The sink was not draining, the bidet was not attached/glued to the floor and also had draining problems, one of the toilet seats was broken, the shower was leaking, there were no bulbs in bedside lamps, the liquid soap bottles were almost empty, the blowdryer was melted and the power outlet next to the bed was not working to name a few. After telling the management about some of the most critical issues, they came to the apartment twice and fixed some of the problems during our absence. They did not fix the shower, saying that the shower doors are made of glass and you cannot prevent the water leaking. As you can imagine, there was always a mess regardless of how careful you showered. Even though the apartment was generally clean, there were some nasty things like mold and rust in the shower and sink. There was also loud noise coming from the kitchen, which we were told is because the building fan is located behind the kitchen wall and there is nothing you can do about it. It was also very loud because of airplanes flying over the building every few minutes (the airport is about 5 km away). There is no AC and the bed was not comfortable. Overall, the apartment has a lot of potential, but the condition of it is beyond bad. Such issues should not be there and your guests are not supposed to have to deal with such problems. When you are charging so much money for a non-centrally located apartment, the least you can do is to make sure everything works properly and it is clean.
