MyHouseSpain - Modern penthouse close to Gran Via - Big Terrace

The apartment is spacious, the spaces available are well distributed. The rooms are spacious, even the bathroom. It is bright, there are many windows and every room is equipped with them. The kitchen is well equipped with 4 burners and the fridge is large. The location is convenient for getting around the center of Madrid on foot. The girl who opened the house to us was very kind. The furniture available to guests is in excellent condition and spacious. We also found the coffee machine with pods. the apartment is very quiet and well soundproofed. The apartment was very clean, except for the curtains and carpets.

The carpets, as you can see from the photos, were very dirty. We had to roll up and put the one away in the bedroom. Despite its central location, the street is dirty and gloomy. There was a large hole in the kitchen false ceiling temporarily protected by a sheet of plastic. Some cables could be seen.

This is my 2nd time at the property and really recommend it - modern, very clean, all necessarily facilities, nice terrace and very comfortable bed. Heating is central and warm.

Maybe some additional towels can be provided.

The location is pretty good, just above Gran Via, so more in the shopping area than the typical tourist area. The apartment is pretty large and has a terrace. The place is very modern and has nice decorative touches. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The kitchen is very large and has a dishwasher.

There was a leak in the roof of the apartment when we were there, but hopefully that is fixed by now. We were not offered any compensation for that, although the sound of falling drops was continuous during the night, and we had to mop the floor from time to time. For the rest the place is nice, beware it's 4th floor without an elevator.

The patio is really nice. The check-in was easy.

The bed was quite firm. The couch was very uncomfortable. The sink in the bathroom doesn’t have a water trap so it smells sometimes.

The apartment was great, lovely kitchen and the terrace was ideal as weather so good

The only negative issue would have to be the flat pack furniture stacked up in the living/dining area. Some of which we had to move, with a struggle to be able to plug the lamp in. As a result we didnt use this area. Luckily weather was so good we used the terrace area instead.

Its modern, spacous, well connected to Gran Via and Chueca districts. It is well maintained and clean.

It will be good if more towels and toilet paper is provided. Also the issuing of invoice was problematic and several requests were communicated. It will be nice if there is more than one key. P.S. Be aware that its on 4th floor without lift with tiny stairs - could be problematic for elderly people or those with disabilities or small kids.
