Aqua Sands #2 - Stay Waiheke

Location, good bed

Room had a strong musty/mouldy smell when we arrived. As a result we had to leave all the doors and windows open 24 hours a day as otherwise we would not have been able to stay there.

Good apartment great facilities which were good quality and clean

The approach wasn’t easy to get to as there were no paths to access the property But the views were great and great to get down onto the Little Oneroa Beach

Nice view peeking through the trees to sea. Very comfy bed.

Wifi did not work on the first evening, but it was fixed the next stay - the property managers were very responsive. The room was smaller than we expected from the photos and a bit cramoed with furniture. The kitchen area did not have a sink, which meant using bathroom sink to fill the jug or dish washing basin. Was noisy over the busy road when doors open- but did not hear when closed.

The absolutely revolting smell when we entered the room, which tainted all of our belongings. The small parking space. The person permanently parked at the bottom of the drive way in a camper van and car - making it an absolute nightmare to access the drive way. Also, his dog barked during the night. Also we could not watch anything on the t.v in the room.

Interior is nice, clean, comfortable

The location on the main road is extremely difficult as a pedestrian or a driver — blind corners in both directions on a heavy traffic road with no sidewalk.

Over all a great stay the view of the beach was awesome, handy to village and a little store down the hill by the beach

We didn't have a car so the trip to the village was a bit scary at times as we had to navigate crossing a busy road to get to the walk way to the village.
