I liked that we were able to have the entire family together instead of different hotel rooms.

Most days we had issues with having enough hot water for everyone to shower.

Good location. Not far from plaza Mayor. Very kind staff and accommodating. Cute apartment inside. Very secure building.

Room is a little tightl for 4 people. Older building, elevator does not work to stop at level one which is where the room is located. The wood stairs are very old and not very stable . the staircase areas are very dark with hardly any light. This was challanging for my mother since she is elderly.

Great value for money, lots of space for a large group. Suitable for a short stay.

There was a shortage of towels, and the equipment in the kitchen was limited.

It was more of a studio apartment than a one bedroom apartment as the bedroom wasn’t separate but part of the living space.

This apartment is very close to the city center (Sol), so you can go everywhere on foot. The existing dishwasher, laundry machine and tableware are really helpful for long-term visits, such as ours. The hosts are always available through chat/call and their reaction is usually swift (there was an incident and they were at the apartment really quickly, very early in the morning). This is a warm apartment; we did not even need to turn the air-conditioners on during January. It is not easy to find an apartment that can host large groups, so this is definitely a rare finding.

- The instructions to get the keys in the beginning of the stay were very clear, but the code had changed and we were not notified in advance; so we had to contact the hosts. - There was an incident with one of the group getting locked inside one of the bathrooms because the door latch got stuck. We called the hosts and they came really quickly, but they had to break the door eventually. They told us that the mechanism had been changed recently, but it seems that they are not maintaining the apartment successfully. At least, they should have warned us in advance. - The apartment had no wardrobes to temporarily store our clothes. - The apartment was decently, but not seamlessly clean originally and there was no cleaning or change of towels/bed sheets for the duration of our stay (6-7 days). - The bathrooms were not spacious. - There was no natural light because the few available windows were facing the interior part of the building.

Maybe the pillows having pillow protection covers on and better pillows as the current ones are too hard and badly stained when pillows covers are removed.

This place was just perfect for the three of us. Kitchen was well equipped, apartment was clean, beds were comfy and enough space to leave 3 large suitcases. The best thing of all was the location - 13 min walking distance form Prado, 15 from Puerta del Sol and Calle Gran Via, and 3 from the buzzing Barcelona Street! There is a supermarket Dia 1 min away from the apartment, as well as bakeries and Aston Marton Mercado. I would definitely stay here again!

Very central location.

A bit pricey for the size of the accommodation.Also it had a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom.

The apartment is perfectly located for exploring Madrid as you can walk to all the main attractions. It is very cosy and has everyhing you may need (towels, toiletries, hair dryer, extra blankets, equiped kitchen). We really enjoyed staying there.

Have to use link to open the front door every time we came back. Locks on the apartment door was difficult to open. We couldn’t get into the apartment.
