"Nice apartment 5 minutes away from Madrid train station"

Nice apartment within 5 minute walk of Madrid train station. easy to get into Madrid centre on public transport, plenty of shops/bars around hotel area. nice big balcony to sit and have a drink, washing machine, tumble dryer and well appointed kitchen. Host messaged with info before we arrived and we picked the keys up from reception and there's a lift up to 8th floor. also an area to leave bags if you arrive before check in, as we did.

Sofa bed was not the best but okay for the night we were there.

"A very well supplied little apartment close to a major train station and airport access."

Great to have a small apartment with full kitchen, sitting room, separate bedroom. Very well equipped including washing machine and dryer. Well located at walking distance from major train station for travel to north and west of Madrid and to the airport, but not close to major tourist sights of Madrid.

The bedroom was hot for sleeping. The owner had kindly added a portable air con unit in the sitting room but this was not of much benefit in the bedroom. This would not be a problem in cooler weather than we experienced.
