La Casetta

La Casetta has everything one needs to stay comfortably in Gerace. The breakfast items were varied and plentiful. The place is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It was a lot of fun to stay there.

The apartment is located off the corner of the Duomo & main town piazza. Sitting on the small patio in front of the apartment sipping an aperitivo was delightful.

We were so amased by everything! Right in the center with parking place, stunningly eqiuped place, really comfortable, extremely clean, very nice owner. I would suggest it to everyone. Our child was soooo happy with his own bed at the top of the stairs. Just perfect, really. Alenka with family from Slovenia

There really was not a thing that we missed. The owner even gave us an umbrella as it was raining!

The accommodation is a duplex , with the main entrance into the sleeping quarters and ensuite, whereas the kitchen/dining is accessed down a wrought iron spiral staircase. A very very generous owner , it showed from thd amount of goodies for breakfast and the abundance of facilities. But most of all I must mention the town , Gerace. There are no words that can prepare you for the dramatic approach over the pine wooded mountain crests, the cobbled narrow streets , the smell from the chimneys hanging in the air , the beautiful old houses with high walled gardens and courtyards. I'll say no more .
