Great location - super apartment - serviceminded and responsive staff!

On the plus side, the apartment offers many amenities, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. The hosts provided 3 capsules to start, but you need to purchase your own afterward. The area has many shops and restaurants, as well as a stop for the tourist tram number 28.

The apartment has a good location, as long as there is no construction work. Unfortunately, there is construction work at the moment. The street is closed, which no navigation system can detect, making it impossible to reach by taxi. Opposite the apartment, there is a major renovation of a building, causing very loud noise from early morning. Even closed windows do not block the noise, so getting a good night's sleep is impossible. Another issue is the approach towards tourists. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours, and then due to the construction, the taxi driver took a wrong turn. We were in contact with the property, as check-in is possible until 10 PM. We finally arrived at 10:08 PM and were charged a penalty fee of 30 euros for arriving after 10 PM. We have not received any proof of payment yet; everything was in cash, and the receipt is supposed to be sent later from the office. Not everything in the apartment is clean and functional. There are non-working outlets by the bed that seem to have been cleaned years ago. The apartment comfortably fits a maximum of 7 people. The sofa in the living room is not suitable for sleeping.

The interior of the apartment is lovely.

The noise and construction is an unexpected and disappointing surprise; definitely not what we had hoped for being on holiday, and something we would have appreciated being advised of before booking this apartment.  We did not feel safe walking with family - in between small and dark pathway - created from the construction barriers.   From the lovely balconies, we get views of construction dumpsters, debris, trash on the street, and unsightly graffiti .   This is a lovely apartment inside, but very disappointed that the location and surrounding construction conditions were not properly disclosed or mentioned in the listing. In fact, we left 2 days ahead of schedule. That's how unsafe/uncomfortable this location made us feel. I wrote a note directly to the owner and the response I rec'd was - 'I’m sorry that you’re disappointed with the surroundings but this is something beyond our responsibility as they are public construction done without previous advise.' Quite irresponsible and unprofessional in my opinion. Some acknowledgement and empathy would have gone a long way....Would have just appreciated some transparency and honest advisement in the posting. I've rented on bookings and other accommodations for many years - first time I've had this experience.

Great location. Close to everything! We were close to shopping, good restaurants. We also appreciated the fact that there were always hot water for everyone to shower (group of 8).

We would have prefered not having construction going on in front, which took away from the view and we were not able to hang clothes outside because it was dusty.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and had great amenities. Was so lovely at the end of the day to return to. Well located next to public transport. Susana welcomed us in.

Great location, very comfortable, clean and with every amenity needed. Our hosts made us very welcome and it was perfect for all of our needs.

Location around apartment is dirty, construction & found ourselves constantly going to Rossio station for anything we wanted to do.

We loved our stay here! Bernardo was a very helpful and friendly host, the check-in was smooth and he also shared some recommendations with us for the area. The apartment itself is gorgeous, very well set up. We were six friends (two couples and two singles) and everyone had a nice room that they were very happy with. Would definitely stay there again!
