The double bed was too narrow for us

Excellent location, close to many shops, cafes, tourist attractions, tram stops, metro station. The apartment is rather spacious for an old building, but it has all the basic amenities for a pleasant stay. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was a heater in the bedroom, which provided a warm, cozy and quiet place for a good night's rest. There almost no traffic in the street.

Access to the 2nd floor flat is a very steep set of stairs, not easy to climb with a large suitcase or for people with limited mobility. Be warned. This is typical for this type of building in this part of town. The access by car to the street is restricted, only residents can enter. Therefore, your taxi or uber will NOT be able to drop you off at the door: you will have to walk 2 or 3 blocks on cobblestone streets, which are typical in this part of the city. It is not that easy with large suitcases, be warned again.

Amazing location, friendly introduction by owner, all the basic cooking utensils were there to make a meal, as I made lunch for myself one day. I liked that there was Port! a coffee machine and capsules, Iron was used and appreciated, also I see some people here have issues with the bathroom, it was absolutely fine for me (Female, 30s) Also, the stairs are quite steep so for people with mobility issues may be hard, (fine for me, but worth pointing out for others who may struggle with this) The apartment makes noise/creaks from neighbours but that's what apartment life/living is like especially old apartments, again all fine for me but may not be for other people. Overall a pleasant stay and would happily stay here again.

My only slight gripe is I think the apartment could've been cleaned better before my arrival. Also, it would've been a nice touch if there was laundry detergent for the washing machine (However, this would be a nice bonus and was not expected)

The apartment is perfectly located: only a few minutes to central Cais Do Sodre and the busier parts of Bairro Alto but in a quiet street, far away from the general noise. The house, the windows, the wooden floor, the light and the size of the apartment were pleasant.

With nicer furniture and more love for the wonderful old apartment it could be a nice place. But the interior is very cheap, rather unattractive und not the newest. Kitchen and bathroom are very small. Not the kind of place where you feel at home immediately, but the location made it up at the end.

Steps are a bit steep as it is an old property. Bathroom was too small and there was problem for ventilation so it was smelly after the use which can be significantly improved

Really nice and welcoming host, made us feel at home. Good position in the really center of the city.

Sorry to say that the house is quite old and little. We heard all the noise coming from upstairs and downstairs, also wood cracking simply from people walking. Stairs to the apartment very tiny and steep. Bathroom very little and close to the kitchen.
