Property Notes

The check-in process requires the mandatory registration of each guest prior to accessing the apartment. Check-in between 21:00 and 02:00 incurs a surcharge of €70, which must be paid in cash. The keys to the apartment will be handed over directly in our offices at Calle San Marcos 9, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. If you arrive after 7:00 p.m., remember to call at least 30 minutes in advance to make sure that someone is available to receive you directly at the apartment for the key delivery. IMPORTANT: Please contact our team 48 hours before your arrival and carefully follow the instructions made available to you at all times. MIT House is not responsible for any delay in entering the apartment due to not having carried out said prior process. This accommodation does not allow stag or hen parties or other types of parties. A damage deposit of EUR 200 is required. This will be charged by the property 14 days prior to arrival. It will be done by credit card. It will be returned to you 7 days after check-out. The deposit will be returned in full by credit card once the accommodation has been reviewed. Access to the apartment: this apartment is located within the Area called CENTRAL MADRID with restricted access to road traffic. Keep in mind that, to access the apartment in a private vehicle, you must have the corresponding approval from the General Directorate of Municipal Traffic (DGT). Otherwise you can only access the apartment on foot, or by public transport, taxi or VTC. Mit House is not responsible for any municipal sanction in this regard. IMPORTANT: This apartment is only available for seasonal rentals, in accordance with Article 3 of the Urban Leasing Law (LAU). Guests will sign a seasonal rental agreement upon arrival.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Malo malo. Olor a cloaca, pésima atención."

Nuestra estadía no fue nada satisfacotoria. El check in era a las 15hs y desafortunadamente nos entregaron la llave más tarde sin hacerse responsables y sin pedir disculpas. Tampoco nos permitieron un late check out (correspondiente a la tardanza de ellos). No tienen WhatsApp, se manejan a través de mensajes por Booking o SMS (num internacional) y tampoco responde ese número (ellos sabían de mi horario de llegada desde el día anterior como disponen). Desde la oficina de MITHOUSE me respondieron que ellos no manejan las respuestas de booking. Leí varios comentarios sobre el olor a cloaca, no pensé que fuera tanto, realmente aromitiza el departamento dejando un olor insoportable. Nuevamente hice el reclamo en la oficina de MITHOUSE y me respondieron que es importante la crítica la cual ya estaba realizada antes de nuestra estadía y no se hizo nada para resolverlo. El departamento es muy pequeño para 4 personas, las camas hacen ruido y el sillón cama es un colchón finito para dos personas. No recomiendo para nada este departamento. Lo único positivo es que se encuentra en el barrio chueca en una zona tranquila, hay bares y restaurants cercas y no se escucha nada. Tiene buena iluminación natural.

Muy malo todo. No lo recomiendo Atención pésima. Si pudiera pegar la conversación para que realmente entiendan como se manejaron, juro que no exagero, es realmente así.

"Absolutely horrible and one should avoid this place."

Very confusing. Had to download an application that has keyless entry, then fill out lots of information about every guest. We asked to check in early and no response received. We had to translate the message to find out that I had to go to another office to pick up the keys. (Other friends staying in another location near me had the exact same issues with this company.) Will never use this company/app (MIT House) again.

They refused to provide more than 1 set of keys for 3 people staying in the flat. Thus every exit required a complicated system to determine how people could return and when. Ridiculous they wouldn’t provide this. Also, the sleeper couch is worse than sleeping on the floor — very old and nonfuntional. Lastly, and importantly, the bathroom has improper ventilation and smells like a sewage plant all day and night. We kept the fan on 24/7 but it didn’t help. Overall horrible place to stay and others should be fully informed of all these issues before they rent this place.

They need place, mats, and coasters for the glass dining table. They had only one large knife, and it was dull. They need a sharp knife. They need a dish drain for wet dishes. The shower base is slippery..
