Domus Annae B&B

The owner was lovely. She brought us delicious Neapolitan treats for breakfast and homemade marmalade.

The blow dryer broke? But the owner sent a replacement immediately.

It was very clean and a good size space for the price. Walking distance to the main area and train station. I felt safe as a solo female traveller.

The wifi connection was very poor and unreliable, had to use mobile data most of the time. The floor was also very very cold - the air conditioner on heat mode was not sufficient.

Close to the train station and one of the Pompeii site entrances. Easy communication with the host, good size of the room and bathroom.

The top cover seems not to be changed between guests, and the blankets that could have been used instead of it also smelled like stale air. Heating options are not great.

The host is super responsive and so kind. The room is more like a mini-apartment with great use of space. When you walk in, you have a tiny kitchen that has a sink, fridge and dishes and silverware plus a cute little table two people can have a meal at. The room is very clean and we were so comfortable there. It was nice and quiet and we slept so well. The city of Pompei is such a cute city and deserves an overnight (or two or three!) stay beyond just visiting the Pompei Ruins for a few hours.

Lovely and very spacious rooms, host met me at the door and showed me around, also replied quickly to emails and had great recommendations. Shower with neat water pressure :) 10min walk to station and grocery shopping, 15min to the ruins.

Maybe mugs, more than two tea spoons, and a sharp knife/ peeling knife or potato peeler to update the kitchen.

Location close to the city train station (not the Pompeii excavation train station), which is what I prefer. Clean. Well-stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Near a supermarket. 10minute walk from the less crowded/touristy entrance to the Pompeii ruins. Kind owner.

The sofa bed wasn't super comfortable, but sofa beds never are so I am not really complaining. The sofa bed is in the kitchen and you must walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. Neither of these was a problem for us at all, but I am simply pointing it out in case it might be an issue for others. I would certainly return.

The room was ready earlier. The host was very very very nice! The room was very clean. The location is perfect if you want to visit Pompeii, or a big shopping mall (7 minutes walk). You can also take the Vesuvius line in Pompeii that brings you to Sorento. For us, it was the best b&b we had this holiday! Thanks Rosa!
