Villa Spyridoula studios on the Beach

A little piece of heaven. Lovely little beach just outside the gates, and really nice pool inside the gates. Peaceful and quiet yet just a short walk from restaurants and shops

The showers need updating but always knew it was going to be basic

This was definitely one of those times when the departure sadness is fully justified. And the property managed to cover a big percentage of it. Walking a narrow and slightly grassy road little did we expect that behind a curtain of trees there was hidden this gem of a villa. A wide and cared for yard, with a swimming pool, several parking spaces stacked under the shade of some trees, a happy puppy and several cats greeting you, and the villa watching silently, atop the far end of the domain. The Apotripiti Beach is just outside the yard. 20 meters "far". it is somewhat wild, meaning no facilities other than stairs, but the waves and the serenity compensate fully and help one relax and take in most of what we miss while living between steel, glass and concrete. There are no other locations next, or around it, so the only source of "noise" is the wind in the evening or morning, depending of the weather. Room is spacious, well furnished, kitchen amenities are proper, the small terrace is very cozy. You have about 1Km from the location to the local bus station next to the "Three Little Pigs" restaurant (connects you to the airport via the A2 bus line - cheapest option, 3.5EUR/person/way) and the restaurants on the main line start in about 200 meters from the location.

We were there in September and the weather was windy and slightly rainy, contrary to the "all rain" forecast. Lucky us. However, we could have used an extra blanket or duvet in the room, as we wanted to avoid warming up with the air conditioning unit all night long (power consumption and noise are two reasons). Also the hot water seemed to be provided by passive sun heaters, and we had some cold showers in the evening, or on cloudy days. A centralized electric powered compensator unit could prevent that, when needed.

The beach was close and the neighbourhood was very silent. The pool was great and the whole property was very clean, nice, maintaned. The cleaning lady was super kind and helpful!

The bathroom was not the best, the water was coming back from the floor due to the conditions. As we were on the ground floor we heard everything what has happened above us (thin walls/ceiling).

The location is perfect, next to the beach and the closest super market and restaurants are just a couple of minutes walk. But it was calm. The room was comfortable for a couple.

Beautiful location, very helpful and friendly staff. Few minutes from the beach and from the main road with shops and restaurants. Look just like the pictures.

Charming studio placed in green and large garden right on the beach. Very nice hosts.

Lighting could be improved

The place is located perfectly, right near the beach, and very close to the high street. The pool and the gardens are very nice.

We tried some cooking in the kitchen and found it somewhat lacking useful utensils.
