"The best!"

What a perfect spot! You can’t beat the location but it’s the attention to detail from the owners that make the difference. It’s a very well-equipped home with stunning views and thoughtful touches. Highly recommended!

All above energy was amazing!! Mountains, ocean.. everything is clean and decorations are done with taste. We had a great time, despite of the rain and cold outside, we felt cozy and welcome Thank you host

We loved every minute at Um Lugar so Sol Beach. It was a “home away from home”experience with perfect hand crafted and unique decor, a stunning sea view, comfortable setting, and provided complete peace on 🌏. We hope to return again and stay longer. It was Soooo beautiful. 🩵🌊💚☀️

"An exceptional location - with easy access to restaurants and bars."

What a gem of a find! Perched on top of a cliffside village away from the crowds with stunning views. It was filled with charm and decorated with art and photos from the owners, Mario and Catia. We have traveled often in Portugal and this was one of our favorite finds. Exceptional in every way.

The only thing that could have been better is if we had stayed longer!

"Almost 10"

Read the other reviews and praises - they are all true, the place is magnificent. But...

I write from Value for Money perspective. This place isn't cheap, but it has some flaws: 1. The smell of humidity appears in the living room, not the strong one and the apartment has tons of aromatic sticks, fragrance removers and whatnot. Some people may even not mention this, anyway, sleeping with open windows solves the problem. 2. The stove has this strange temperature self regulatory feature, cooking can be a bit challenging. The rest is awesome!

"Gorgeous views"

Breathtaking views, gorgeous apartment. The owner left us wine, champagne, meats, cheeses, etc and even candy for my daughter! We loved swimming in the freezing cold natural pool and walking along the beach. Lots of great restaurants within 5-10 minutes drive plus two right next door. Wish we stayed longer!
