Wow! The view is stunning! Mario was so helpful, he made dinner reservations for us. Agua y sal right down the street was so yummy! Mario also helped arrange wine tasting too. This place is stunning and we were happy to be welcomed so warmly, especially coming off a long flight. Mario even left snacks, wine, coffee for us, which were greatly appreciated. We hope to return someday! I would recommend renting a car if you stay here.

This is an exceptional property. The design is very smart, clean, and comfortable. The outdoor table shown in the photos is private and exclusively yours and we spent many hours there.

No fault of the host, but parking was difficult even in November. Very narrow street and the nearby restaurant parking was usually full. A little tight to turn around but recommend parking on the street facing the exit.

absolutely beautiful property! the hosts have done such a great job with decor and details. they leave you treats and were very accommodating when we were jet lagged and hoping to check in a little early. the apartment is sparkling clean. communication and check in was easy. we’d love to come back here one day!

Our friendly host, Mario, was very communicative and helpful throughout our travel planning and pre-arrival to Azenhas do Mar. We were met at the gate, given a tour of the stylish apartment and given the keys. Once we settled in, Mario checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We loved every moment spent in the apartment, especially the eclectic art work and interesting collection of books, some related to the area. The apartment was clean, warm and inviting, decorated with a keen eye and artistic flair and the location added to our daily enjoyment, with stunning views of the spectacular rock cliff coast from the living room and master bedroom and the large private terrace - Um Lugar ao Sol Beach House surpassed our greatest expectations, we loved everything about our stay. Thank you again, Mario, for your warm welcome, on call availability, patience in our delayed arrival, your moment's notice readiness to greet us and for helping us book a taxi for transport back to the airport. Your kind hospitality and beautiful apartment will be remembered! We hope to return with friends in future.
