Mickitos Apartments at Macedonia Square

Apartment is very big, location is perfect, in the city center.

The location is the best, just a few minutes walk to the Mother Teresa home, the square and less than 10 mins to the bridge. If you need to store your luggage before or after check out, the host can arrange this for you. This really helps us a lot.

The shower head was broken, it was tied with a string, which made it very hard to control the water flow. So I ended up having to hold the shower head.

Except the parking it was nice generally during the working outs it can be hard to get their parking place due to cars parked in the way

I'm not a picky person and would let most things slide because I don't really care but this is just one thing too many. 1) The host didn't provide the door code in the onboarding instructions so wasn't able to get back in after leaving the apt on the first day. Additionally the wifi that was provided on the sheet was incorrect. He said they had recently changed it but forgot to update the instructions (which is literally just one piece of paper). If I didn't have my sim card working I would have been unable to communicate with the host to find out what the door code was and would have been locked out in the dark / cold. Later on the door code box actually broke and was no longer working. Host did deliver a key in a timely manner but still an inconvenience nonethless. 2) Generally place is in disrepair, bathroom for example shows a lot of discoloration on the walls, exposed wires, etc. 3) Kitchen has relatively few plates, bowls, and utensils. 4) I ran a wash, not even that much clothes, and the washer machine completely freaked out and fell over. It actually ended up blocking the door to the bathroom from opening. It unplugged itself, water spilled out onto the floor. Luckily there was enough distance for me to open the door and get my hand in so I could lift the washer machine back to an upright position and open the door to get in. Someone who was not as strong would have not been able to do that and effectively would have been locked out of their only bathroom until they got help. 5) Toilet sometimes has problems and gets stuck in flushed position, so water just continues to run.

Unfortunately, we didn’t stay there as the house is very old and there are only some renovations at home. While the price is cheap , it isn’t worth at all. The apartment building is so old and we didn’t feel safety and it was scary. The owner was friendly but it doesn’t matter when you have this home . It is better to check the home before you decide to stay there . It was my first time that I had such a bad experience.

Wonderful apartment in the city centre, one bedroom, one living room, kitchen, and bathroom, small balcony. The building is calm, neighbours are ok, the apartment is located few steps from GTC, there is a bus stop near by. The owner is awesome! The flat was clean, fully equipped, the bed was comfy, the TV and net were working, I had my own sim card so I did not use the WiFi, but it was also available. Definitely, I can recommend staying at Mickitos!

Great location. Well equipped apartment with separate living space and full kitchen.

A little hard to find and the keys were hard to use.
