Casa Miha

Friendly owners who went an extra mile and arranged the baby crib for us. Very spacious and clean! Location is a nice walk away from the old part of the city. Well equipped apartment, we enjoyed it as a family. Found a delicious bottle a wine in the room.

Wonderful stay, the hosts gave a great intro to the city and suggested a few local restaurants. Great location to stay as a family, in a quiet and calm building. Beautiful view from the balcony.

We had a fabulous time in Sintra staying at Casa Miha. For us the location could not have been better and we enjoyed the walk into the old town. The apartment was surrounded by lovely places to eat and a great market was just a 5 minute walk away with amazing fresh produce. The owners were really kind and helpful and we would definitely recommend it.

The internal bathroom wasn't great as no extractor fan but a minor issue really.

The location on foot was fabulous. Very central to all the sights to see. The place where you get on the bus that brings you to the castles is super nearby. The kitchen was superb, space was big, clean, and well stocked. The owners are gracious and even helped call the police when we had an accident (someone hit our car from behind). The stairs were very wide and not difficult to climb without luggage. Great exercise for my 83 year old mother.

There was no elevator so it was a little difficult to carry the luggage up and down. The street going to the apartment is super narrow. And one time an electrician parked his van and we could not get in until he left. His number was on the van so we called. But still, he took his time. Also, parking involved super tight maneuvering so bring a small car.

No need for an uber from the train station. It's right there! We got around via train and bus while we were there, but at the start & end of the trip we did hire a car to/from the airport thru booking.com which was faster than public transit. The property is located right above an amazing croissant shop and walking distance to a large Pingo Doce grocery store. You will have to walk up steps and then 2 flights of stairs to the place. We thought this was just fine because we didn't want to be on the ground floor. And the door to the complex is locked. The place was very comfortable and we did not feel like we were on top of one another - there was room to spread out. There was a foyer for our wet stuff complete with coat rack and umbrellas to borrow. There was a lovely balcony too! Kitchen was easy to cook in with everything we needed and it had a Nespresso coffee maker. Heating worked great (we were there in late October). Bedrooms had blackout shades. Wifi was great. I'd stay here again!

The washer & dryer were standard European ones that you find in most places that washed well but didn't really dry. But the place had drying racks so it worked out just fine!

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, and our host was extremely personable and provided us with lots of information in things to see and do during our stay.

Everything was perfect. The house was impeccable and the attention to every detail was amazing! We loved our stay and if we ever return to Sintra we will definitely choose Casa Miha for our stay. The hosts, Miha and António, were so lovely and kind and offered to help us with everything we needed.

The balcony and the view. The apartment is large and well-equipped. Antonio was a fantastic host. He provided us with tips on where to eat, suggested a gorgeous path to get to the castle, and checked in to see how we were doing. We loved Sintra and hope to return one day!
