Apartamento 1º de Maio

The apartment is spacious, modern, well stocked, big comfortable beds, very good storage,good wifi, very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent- easy to access and short walk to sites. We parked in free parking lot near the market less than 5 minute walk; there were lots of spaces in the afternoon but not as many in the morning.

Management needs to work on customer service, as others have expressed - the only reason it doesn't get a 10..This is the only place we have ever stayed without some flexibility for checkin if the apartment is ready before. They don't even provide the code until very close to checkin which creates stress about whether or not we will receive the codes at all. We understand that there may be good reasons why the apartment would not be ready before official checkin and are ok with that. But management could express that in a much more professional way instead of just saying NO. So we were at the door with bags ready for checkin at 3 and received a note saying that cleaning was a little behind; it was a half hour that we could have spent doing something else. Despite management, we felt sorry for the nice cleaning staff who were rushed but managed to present us with a super clean apartment.

We loved the location and the apartment. We had a couple glitches which were no fault of the management and the problems were resolved very quickly. Pedro was awesome!!!

A coffee table would be a bonus.

Lovely apartment that was nice and quiet and centrally located which made walking around Tavira really easy. Super clean and comfortable, can't fault it!

Lock box wasn't working so needed to collect from an office around the corner. Wasn't far or complicated to do though so not an issue.
