Loved everything about our stay. The cottage was immaculate and really cosy. Pub opposite. The market reached within 5-10 min stroll. Great stay great Christmas in Thirsk. Would definitely return.

The location-so near the town The cleanliness and comfort of the house. Everything was so tastefully presented. The lovely welcome basket was very much appreciated. It felt like 'home'.

Second stay and all ready booked the place for another 2 stays. Love the location. Loved the new bathroom they have had fitted. Lovely little welcome pack on arrival.

Very minor thing but a new TV would be great, having a smart TV would be nice.

"Comfortable stay in great location"

Everything we needed provided - from tea, coffee starters to cleaning equipment - perfect when you’re short on time. Comfortable beds and soft towels.

Nothing, possibly only that parking not always available right outside property but always found a spot close by.

"Lovely cottage would book again"

It was spotlessly clean, spacious enough and the staff were welcoming helpful and friendly. It is only a five minute walk into town, ten minutes from the racecourse and the lodge barns by car.

The only minor issue was the stairs as there is a spiral at the bottom and a low ceiling whilst it was no issue for us some elderly or disabled may find it difficult. But most cottages have this type of stairs.
