ESWe loved staying at Palazzo D’Arte, what a treat!! Located in a luxury old Palazzo in Ragusa Superiore, the apartment was a former art gallery which was completely refurbished and converted into a modern apartment. Two comfortable and ample bedrooms with modern bathrooms, and a small kitchen. Located just blocks from the Piazza del Duomo with its breathtaking cathedral and nearby cafes and restaurants. A 20 minute walk takes you to Ragusa Ibla, the lower city which is a Baroque wonderland. Our hostess Elisa, was so kind and helpful. She welcomed us in person, she showed us around the place before handing us the keys. She was available on the phone for whatever we needed, and gave us good local recommendations. Thanks Elisa, we loved Ragusa!!

CAThe location is perfect. The antiques, artwork and high ceilings are charming. Self check in was easy.
Old dirty entrance could be fixed up… you are hard pressed to make it upstairs before the lights turn off. If I had been a solo traveller arriving at night, I would have found the dark entrance disconcerting. The shower was mouldy, not only could you see the mould but the smell was very strong. Beware the wide angle lens when looking at photos

USThe property is beautiful and in a great location. Elisa is an amazing host - from recommendations to flexibility. She also went above and beyond helping us when we were stranded and unable to get a taxi. I highly recommend the apartment!
We were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer.
USI felt as if I was a local and not a tourist. Milk and water as well as coffee were left in the large apartment. The apartment was charming, spacious and very warm in atmosphere. I slept like a baby.
The hallway lights could be kept on at all times.
