AUWow. I was looking for something special and I certainly got it. The accommodation was absolutely stunning throughout. Beautiful antique furniture and finishes, a grand ceiling, original artwork throughout with the artist book on display. I felt like I was staying in what appeared to be a previous gallery of sorts. The accommodation is tucked away behind a huge door and up 2 flights of stairs, making it feel like you are essentially coming home to a glorious apartment. The bed was comfy, accommodation was spotless throughout. Multiple windows spanning the corner of the building with multiple balconies that were really quaint. Communication with the host was very easy through bookings with clear information and instructions. We didn’t meet the host but were able to ask questions about restaurants etc. And got a very quick reply. The location was surprisingly close to what ended up being a traditional local bakery that sold the best savoury breads I’ve ever tasted (just over the footbridge) We were able to park our car relatively cheaply and completely safely in a multi story car park right next door to the property which was helpful for us. Quiet sleep, safe, walking distance (flat roads) to a main Square and restaurants and supermarket etc. we walked to Ragusa ilba each afternoon and found the walk to be pleasurable …there’s a lot of downhill then back uphill to get there but we expected this and found it enjoyable. We loved our stay here and highly recommend.

NZWe were two friends travelling and totally loved our separate rooms and bathrooms. We could even close connecting doors if we wanted. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed! We just loved it, so much we extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights. Everything was so close, Elisa was Amazing to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. She was friendly, warm and helpful. Apartment was lovely and clean and fabulous. Loved loved our stay in Ragusa!

GBThe decor and ambience. The owners were very helpful. 5 minute walk to Cattedrale di San Giovanni Battista. It has a basic kitchen.
Location. Was a bigger distance from Iblea than we thought. Not walkable for us. Surrounding area is not that nice. The apartment is quite old and the nice windows do let noise in and neighbours were noisy for 1 of 2 nights. There is motorcycle parking in front, which resulted in some noise. Bed is a queen size but low. Did seem to sink down to the sides. No microwave in kitchen, which would have been nice, but I noticed it was not popular in Sicily. Parking. Not as straightforward as the listing states. No free or paid parking is available on streets that I could find. Eventually used the underground parking at €15 a day and 10 minutes walk. This was Easter, so it could be better out of holiday time.
