The Bright Nest Apartments

The location was great, home was clean and tidy, terrace was nice, landlord waited when I was late getting in, lift access to floor but stairs side apartment, washing machine was very useful

Air con unit was a little weak in such a tall space, the lovely page decoration made noise if we used the fan and we worried about damaging it

The place is in need of proper cleaning, repair and renovation. - ⁠the shower head is broken - ⁠in the main room none of the lights can be operated by the light switches - ⁠the AC is not suitable for hot summer weather and it has no function for the upstairs bedroom. the fan in the bedroom helps, but is very noisy - ⁠the paint comes off on the balcony and many parts of the apartment - ⁠there is dust and spiderwebs - ⁠some of the cheap furniture in the kitchen is spoiled and needs replacement

Great apartment in the middle of the Old Town. Easy check in and check out, and plus a very comfortable bed!

The only issue we had was with the shower but it seems like most places in Italy have issues with shower drainage.

We like the modern style. We liked the washing machine. Nespresso machine and tea/sugar/coffee pods were available. That was great.

Even though there was a dishwasher, there was no dish detergent. There was only one trash bag, and one dish towel so we had to request those. A small supply in the apartment would've been better. Even though there was some type of mop for the floor, there was no dustpan to pick anything up that we dropped on the floor. A broom and dust pan would have been nice.

The host was really responsive on my questions. They allowed for earlier check in, as the room is ready. The host is so kind and shared the recommeded restaurants, cafes, pizza places, even the vegetarian restaurants. The apartment is quite clean. Not the super clean, but still acceptable. The location is super good being in the central of Verona. 2 minutes walk to Area, 5-10 minutes to other spots and Christmas market.

Compared to the photos on the booking.com, I feel the room is way older. I had higher expectation from the photos I saw. I expect to have harder and thicker matress in general. The matress is way too soft for me personally.
