"It was a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay but there were a few hiccups with booking/check in"

I booked via booking.com and had to pay in full rather than reserve. We paid an extra £60 cleaning bill at the time of booking. Then before we were due to go we received an email asking to confirm the waiver and either pay £25 no refundable deposit or £250 refundable deposit. This was not through booking.com website and came as a surprise to us. I was anxious about doing this because we had problems with people taking deposits and not returning the £200 deposit to us through airbnb and we got no support from them as it was arranged away from their platform so we were naturally anxious. We therefore paid the £25 as we would have lost our money for the booking. We felt that this deposit was unwarranted and should have been included at the time of booking. We had a few hiccups finding and getting into the property and you had to rely on a link to a website with the arrival details. We presumed the allocated parking space was where we got the key from. But it was not made clear and my husband couldn't park our car in the space provided and ended up scratching our car. In the end, we had to park it in a bay with a note in case anyone wanted us to move it. Luckily we didn't need to. The apartment was very clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. It was a great base to explore Whitby and the centre was walkable. It is just a shame about the waiver and that we couldn't get hold of anyone when we were struggling to get in to the property. "Great property"

The property is in the perfect location, no more than a 2 minute walk from the town centre. Easy instructions for checking in & out, parking was a little tight but still a bonus. Comfortable, clean & spacious for a family of 3. Will definitely book this property again next time we're in Whitby.

"Perfect base for a stay in Whitby"

The apartment was brilliant. Clean, comfy and had everything you'd need for a stay. It felt homely - it didn't feel like an empty rental. It was like care and thought had gone into decor and furniture. It's less than 5 mins from the train station, a couple of minutes to get into the town, and only about 5 minutes to the bridge to take you to the old town.

Loved how close it was to centre. Really easy to walk everywhere.

Car parking space could maybe be a little tight if you had a biggish car.

"Fantastic Apartment In Perfect Spot"

Beautiful apartment with added bonus of a parking space. Very close to amenities but far enough away (5 min walk) to be quiet.

Few simple repairs required but didn't affect our stay. Would be nice to have duvets one size bigger than double beds.

Very good. Within walking distance of supermarket, restaurants, Rail Station, local shops and harbour area. Free numbered parking space on site is a bonus.

"Super apartment, great location"

The location is super and great to have private parking too. The apartment was lovely and very comfortable.

Nothing, really. If I had to say, then perhaps clear the cobwebs from the big bedroom ceiling and wall above the bed. Perhaps refresh the paintwork in the bathroom. That's all.
