Lovely and cosy

Homely,lovely couple who own it. Really good for getting to Whitby,Robin hood bay. Has all that we needed for a short stay.

Some better road signage would be helpful Bit cold at night

The perfect holiday cottage! We didn’t want to leave! It was a real home from home- the owners have literally thought of everything and the little touches make such a difference. I always bring tea towels, salt, pepper etc, but all of those things were provided anyway. The beds were comfy, the shower nice and hot and everywhere was spotless. I absolutely love the wooden kitchen units and it’s so well equipped. The sofas were comfy and we were able to log in to Netflix on the TV too. The cottage is bigger than we were expecting and in even more of a beautiful location too. It’s on top of a hill overlooking Whitby and has beautiful views, is only a short 10 min drive away, yet it’s so peaceful and rural. We can’t wait to book again and come back! Our toddler spent most of the journey home crying that she wanted to ‘go back to the holiday house’! Thank you for a wonderful break; we just wish we’d booked for longer!

Beautiful view of the sea from the grounds. Field to walk the dog. 🐶 really near to Robins Hood Bay and to Whitby. Owners were lovely and left me gluten free biscuits. Which is a first. Very comfortable and cosy cottage and we couldn’t wait to get back there when we were out. Perfect place to be 🙏

Located between Whitby and Robinhoods bay, so perfect for our stay, a beautiful, well equipped little cottage, a lovely meadow to walk our dog and friendly owners

The fact the only shower was an onsuite. Other than that perfect 👌

3 miles out from whitby but 10 minutes to park and ride private parking elevated position with good views over to Whitby good walking for dog supermarket short car journey away. Comfortable clean rooms.

Fridge bit small if you self cater

Lovely, welcoming, owners who gave us lots of local info. Liked the welcome pack - especially as could make hot drinks on arrival. Very well equipped, clean, comfortable, cottage in a nice location close to Whitby. Lovely views from the grounds and a wildflower area.

With 4 people staying in the cottage, & only one shower in the bathroom off the main bedroom room it was slightly inconvenient, but not a major difficulty as there was a second toilet downstairs.
