Casa Monteprato

This apartment is well located and has a stunning view of Portofino and Santa Margherita and the overall bay. The apartment is very large with two large bedrooms, a large bathroom, a large living room/dining room space with the amazing view and a kitchen with a seating area. The apartment also features access to a common rooftop lounging area with beautiful views of the Zoagli area. The kitchen is well appointed with many cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes, etc. The train station is a very short walk down the hill directly south of the apartment building. Train tickets can be purchased online or from a ticket machine at the station which is unstaffed. Our host, Maurizio, was excellent providing advance information with numerous points of interest, restaurant recommendations based on personal knowledge, and was always accessible to provide information either before our arrival or during our stay. Not only was he a thoroughly helpful host but Maurizio also provided a complementary bottle of Prosecco which we highly enjoyed during our 4 day stay. This location is highly recommended if you are planning to visit Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo or the Cinque Terry areas of the Ligurian coast.

Unbelievable nice seaviews from most of the rooms. Maurizio is realy caring host.

I am sorry to write this review. This appartment has a very good location with a great potential, but it needs a deep and proper cleaning especially of furniture in the sitting room and drawers in the kitchen. The mattresses in the kidsromm are crawled. I like historically furniture, but it should be cared of.
