The Whitby Prospect, large apartment, fantastic views & parking

Great location with view of the abbey. Rooms all light & bright. Very comfortable for two of us. Good parking nearby. Lots of places to eat in Whitby.

Surprised en suite wasn’t a bathroom- very useful toilet & washbasin. Not a problem for us but could be important for 3-4 adults.

A very good property.The condiments that were there on arrival were very much appreciated .Very clean and tidy.

I was disappointed with the shower in the bath as I am a big person and was concerned about slipping in the bath , the only concern with my stay.

The outside of the premises was an initial concern but inside the accommodation was faultless

Fabulous location stunning views

Everything was great

A lovely apartment with everything you need. Very quiet area which i loved, but just a 5/10 min walk to the busy town full of locals/ tourists... and lots of lovely restaurants. Apartment block located virtually nxt door to a bar (closed at mo, assuming out of season as a sign saying opening15th May) and a lovely Chinese, eat in or take away which was handy on first night 😊 def come back again. 🥰

The location was excellent. The apartment was beautiful and perfectly located for the beach and local attractions. The view was stunning. I’d recommend the hop on hop off bus tour that starts at the bus stop on the main road next to the apartment. Tickets are valid for 24h and stop at all the major areas (including the abbey). Really useful for little legs if travelling with kids. I had been concerned about parking having read the reviews but this was no problem at all. You could pull up outside the apartment to unload and then park in the car park <5min flat walk away. If I come back to Whitby I’d look to stay here again.

Issue with the booking.com website sending us the check in details (through no fault of the owner). The owner was immediately responsive when I called and sorted things straight away.

Good location comfortable beds

Draughty windows in bedroom next to lounge, we were cold most of the time paying £120 per night we should not have been cold in fact Friday night freezing cold with draught as it was windy could not change channel in lounge tv and upstairs bedroom it was assumed as it was booked for 2 we were a couple host never asked 2nd bedroom locked could not reach key ended up carry dining room chair up stairs to have to stand on to reach what a rigmarole I requested a text for code for key box arrived at property no text it had been e mailed did not realise this
