"This was only a short stay but a great choice"

Loved the quirky room, and it had probably the most comfortable bed of any room we’ve ever stayed in. Clean fresh and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

Lovely place for a few nights, well fitted out and very clean. Excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Meal in the restaurant below (Bon Appetit) was v good too

The location is excellent for Whitby centre. Facilities had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

Black out blinds/curtains would be a huge benefit in the bedroom. Bed faces a window and the window coverings weren't adequate to block the 4:30am sun shining brightly through.

Location and the friendliness of the staff. I loved the bath. It was nice to pop down for a nightcap

The shower was hard to regulate the temperature and was stuck on tepid or cold. No shower gel / wash or shelf to put it on. Towel drying was a bit difficult as lack of hanging space.
