Spacious Duplex in Antwerp Old Town

The location was amazing!

It needs a deep cleaning and a handyman who can fix and maintain. Nothing drastic, but it desperately needs some TLC

We loved the location and the value. The character of the upper loft and exposed timbers were beautiful.

We had a difficult time getting any cold water to run from the shower. We were not aware (and don’t remember reading about it anywhere) that there were so many stairs, and very narrow steep climbing. This was fine for us with our smaller sized back packs, but it should be communicated for people with suitcases or large travel packs, mobility concerns, or even of a plus sized body.

We hebben niet kunnen douchen ivm dat het alleen bloedheet water was. De trap is smal en slecht verlicht. En toen we ‘s avonds thuis kwamen en licht wilden aan doen boven de tafel ontstond er kortsluiting met vonken, de kabel was niet aan een lamp aangesloten en de draden raakte elkaar. Onacceptabel wat mij betreft en ik zou het niet meer dan normaal vinden op compensatie. Mvg Erik

Vies, niet zoals op de foto’s, koud moeten douchen, hoop dingen kapot. Bad niet bruikbaar, wastafelkraan zat helemaal los, bed was doorgezakt en we konden er om 14 uur niet in omdat ze aan t schoonmaken waren. Van het laatste was niets te zien.

Hygiëne mocht écht wel beter! Enorm veel lawaai (luide muziek tot in de vroege uurtjes) van omgeving. Koffieapparaat was niet volledig. Beschimmeld bestek in afwasmachine (die niet gebruikt mocht worden). Bestek in de lade was niet afgewassen. Amper spullen in de kast waarmee je kan koken. Oven is mini en werkt slecht (voor een app van 11 personen zeer onhandig). Kraan op badkamer hangt los. Geen “extra wc” zoals beschreven. Dus maar 1 wc voor de hele groep. Lijkt op de foto’s ook echt veel groter en chiquer dan het werkelijk is.

Location in the old town was perfect. A real gem of a property.
