SHWAY - The Blue Parrot

Fun decor, good amount of space, attention to detail, quiet area but only 10 mins walk to the centre of the Old Town. Great clear communication from the owners.

The location is very great, close to the center but quiet neighborhood, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and nice the kitchen well equipped

The wifi is working but very weak, the apartment was very cold when we arrived it took 2 hours to heat on at least 20 degrees.

Very nice room with great facilities, clean and tidy and warm with the two heater options

The coffee pods for the machine had been used and not replaced but only a minor issue. Narrow stairs if you have large bags

The location is very good, close to public transportation, good to walk around. The room was very clean, fully equipped kitchen, iron, I appreciated Rituals shower gels and conditioner. I would like to highlight attention to details, the room was very stylish, bed was a good quality, shower was spacious and it had precise temperature regulation for water. There was two heaters: one for the room and one for bathroom. I can see comfort of guests is the priority. The only thing there was no hairdryer, I think better to inform guests so they can bring their own as it can be an issue during winter. Overall I really enjoyed the stay.

It was clean - although it could have been better , specially some of the walls need a repainting

First of all - the stairs are extremely sharp and narrow and the announcement does not say how sharp they are - obviously someone with walking dissabilities cannot stay there, but also older people may have trouble, it is also extremely inconvenient to take the suitcase with you. Only for that they deserve a zero or 1, and Booking.com should pay more attention to this - it is a matter of equal access! The code system is extremely complicated - I had to call the contact person 3 times during a 3 days stay because they were changing the codes!! I do not know how many codes I was given in three days !! It is extremely inconvenient, I saw posts from other guests about this and they do not seem to care. They assume you have to carry your phone with you, what if I didnt and I had to enter into the flat? very very inconvenient and bad service. They do not have anywhere to leave the suitcases if you fly / take a train / bus later. Also inconvenient. The place is in my perception much smaller than the sqm they say. They do not have a place to hang the tower. I also felt quite warm there - there is a fan, but that is not the best solution. It is quite pricey for what it is - low value for money. I think these touristic apartments really need to work harder in what they offer

Exactly as advertised... easy to reach,clear instructions, next to everything.....definitely a place where you want to stay there again.

really everything you could wish for in Antwerp: spacious room, nice bed, fully equipped kitchen, washing machines available downstairs (and you can also store your luggage there), excellent location, check-in with codes is very convenient. the staff was great and stayed in touch. just get ready for narrow stairs, but if you're traveling in this part of Europe it shouldn't surprise you 🙂
