Bridie and Geoff were the perfect hosts. Bridie went over and above to make my stay very comfortable, giving me many personal touches suited to my needs at the time. The apartment was perfect for me, clean, comfortable, cosy and the views were terrific- nothing was a bother for Bridie and Jeff, thank you very much I will definitely be back! Sharon x

"A beautiful lodge close to Loch Lomond"

The lodge was brilliant - it was like a mini home from home! It was kitted out with everything you could possibly want. We only used the kitchen for making breakfast but you could easily prepare any meal - a good oven and hob together with plenty of utensils, pots, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc. Oh, and a dishwasher and washing machine! The bed was huge and really comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower. The property had Wifi and TV. Everything was spotless. The hosts were really helpful and welcoming. They really had thought of everything, including a folder with information on the local and surrounding area, places to visit and recommendations for restaurants. The lodge was very close to Loch Lomond.

The only problem with this delightful lodge is the very close proximity to a major road (A82 I think). This is such a shame as there is a lovely seating area in front of the lodge with a beautiful view over the loch, but the road noise is a bit much. Once you are in the lodge with the door shut it is ok - you can still hear the road but it's not that noticeable.

Absolutely amazing accomodation with everything you could need throughout the stay. Everything was extremely clean and tidy and the view of the lake right from the windows was unreal. Also, the most pleasant and caring hosts who were ready to provide anything we would need. Would definitely return on the next trip.
