Levenhowe Holiday Apartment

Whilst not the most promising looking from the outside, the apartment is absolutely lovely inside. It was very clean and had a real sense of comfort and quality. The hosts provided all the necessary information in a timely manner, and getting hold of the keys was simple. There is plenty of parking available. Although in a quiet enough spot, the apartment is a short walk to the centre where there were lots of nice looking bars and restaurants - I would recommend booking a place to eat as every place looked very busy (on a Saturday night admittedly) and the place we ate at was turning away all walk ups.

The only minor criticism I could offer is that I personally found the double bed in the main bedroom a little too soft, though that's a very subjective thing - my spouse thought it was fine.

There was no breakfast and it was quiet. Great to have a washing machine

A dryer would have been good too.

All equipment, apartment perfectly clean, very quiet location.

Everything was spot on, even an unexpected welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk and other basic essentials. Washing machine a bonus, there was even powder/softener/washing up liquid etc. very quiet part of town Good shower

There were no placemats for the coffee table for cups etc, minor thing and we just bought some beer mats home to use.

Good location for running and walking to Loch Lomond. Lots of space for 2 people. easy parking

The nice flat is well located in the area. It is clean, spacious and hall everything you will need for a few days in the area. Parking is free and well sized, things to do on Balloch are within walking distance. Try walking into town via the foot and cyclepath nearby and after dinner the large park is great for an evening stroll.
