Incredible view ! Clear instructions.

This apartment is in the most amazing central location & as the name suggests you get a panoramic view of the city when you are upstairs. The decor is cosy & comfy. The bed is comfy but the frame is old - it sounds creaky but it is stable. The bed is directly under the old wooden roof beams & brick which are beautiful. There are also Velux windows in the bedroom & bathroom rooves with either manual or electric shutters / opening. There is ample wardrobe space & there are lots of clothes hangers to use. Extra pillows, bed covers are provided too should these be needed. The shower is small but powerful. The shower head can be angled manually to adjust the water direction (but bring a shower cap if you don't want to wash your hair each time.) Hot water was available on demand at all hours. Toiletries, large & small towels & toilet rolls are provided. The kitchen is great. There is a gas hob ( you turn a lever on the wall to put the gas on.) There is a dishwasher & washing machine (we didn't use either during our stay so unable to comment on those.) Cutlery, crockery & utensils are provided. The KitchenAid fridge freezer is great. There is a dining table & chairs at tge opposite end of the room. There is a sofa directly opposite tge smart TV. Heating is controlled remotely by the host but the temperature was always comfortable. You have control of the air conditioning should this be needed. To access the building & subsequently the appartment, you use the Vikey app. If you lose WIFi signal or your phone runs out of battery, you can contact the host by intercom. If you have any queries / need advice then you communicate with the host via WhatsApp. They give swift responses.

There were only 2 downsides. We realised that there would be some stairs leading to the appartment but there are 98 stone steps. You get used to them but please note this fact IF you have mobility issues or heavy, bulky luggage. Secondly, the electrics. If you have too many appliances switched on, the power suddenly blacks out. We had the cooker & kettle on plus a few personal devices plugged in & the power cut out. You then have to go down (then up) the 98 steps to access the apartments electricity box. This unfortunately happened to us twice in less than 20 minutes.

The apartment was very stylishly designed and the location was great. Self check-in and check-out was very easy. The view from the kitchen is incredible. Morning coffee was enjoyable with this view!

They asked detailed cleaning before checking out. If we didn't do how they wanted, we had to pay extra money as a penalty. These requests made me nervous. That's why I didn't cook. You don't expect to be stressed on your holiday like this. We stayed only one night and it's ok. Not good for long stay.

Great location and facilities - perfect for exploring Bologna and further afield.

There is some street noise that seeps into the bedroom.

This place is really special - architecture and views are outstanding. Couldn’t find a better location. Best linens, towels and showers we’ve had in Italy. Bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. Living room couch was comfy - it was hard to leave. We might suggest adding a small throw or blanket there for naps.

Be aware there are four flights of stairs to get to the apartment and then an additional flight in the unit itself. If you have any mobility issues, this not a good option. For the price, we wouldn’t expect to have to take care of our recycling and trash - that required another trip down and up those stairs.

The location was great, the view was amazing, the apartment has two floors and cozy interior design. From sightseeing locations, good restaurants to shopping street, everything was in walking distance. The only thing to consider are the stairs if you are travelling with babies/toddlers or with elderlies.
