Altabella Panoramic Tower

The views (see pics) during the daytime were the best one could ask for. Tasteful decor, perfect location. One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed at. Be aware three flights of stairs need to be climbed to reach the property, also a staircase inside to reach the upstairs. You also need internet connection on your phone to get in.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with two floors. The bedroom was good-sized. We liked the second floor with amazing views of Bologna.

Although this was a very nice apartment, there were a few things that we found frustrating. 1. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor, but the staircases are extra long (more like 6 floors) and there is no elevator access. This is a difficult trek for travelers who have heavy luggage. 2. The host did not provide enough coffee capsules. My wife and I stayed for two nights, but only 3 capsules were provided. It would have been nice to have coffee for both mornings. 3. Although some travelers might welcome keyless entry, potential guests should be aware that you must have a smart phone to enter the building and apartment. 4. Inside the apartment, there is a sign that says "No smoking" and assures guests that they can go "on the balcony," but there isn't a balcony! 5. The host is not available to meet you when you arrive. You can only contact the host by smart phone/text.

The sofabed had seen better days and is not fit for purpose Noisy boiler kept the person on the sofabed awake all night Also no instructions on garbage sorting as you have to dispose of it yourself!

location and the apartment were fantastic, so to having the ability to do washing.

Finding out on arrival we were required to walk through the local alleys and streets to find a place to bin all our rubbish after 4 days of stay. I get there are local requirements.. but some notice that you have to do the 120 stairs multiple times would be appreciated. no issues doing dishes and cleaning, but finding the local bins was average!

Amazing apartment better than the pictures, you are in the heart of the city and in the same time you are in your dream home!

They asked us to leave at 10 and to take out the trash, which was strange. All the messages are automatic never had the chance to comunicate with a life person.

Location is superb and bed was comfortable. Owner was mostly responsive to questions. Yes, there are stairs ... eat more pasta!!!

Apartment was very dusty and living / kitchen furniture not overly comfortable. Inability to get into the kitchen as the refrigerator blocked access due to placement of full-length art pieces. Shower floor very slippery, and lack of bathroom lighting in evening prohibited showering at night. In a town known for wine, not a wine glass to be found.

Location: absolute city center, walking distance to all of Bologna's major points of interest, supermarket 50 meters away. 360-degrees views on Bologna's city centre: 9 towers out of 20 can be seen from the apartment -- exceptional! Great kitchen, with almost everything one may need to cook meals, clean dishes and clean clothes.

No soundproofing in the bathroom and bedroom: hard to fall asleep due to people partying downstairs past midnight... and then, woken up earlier than wished by the massive noise of garbage pickup trucks and then loud cleaning in the street. Bad odors in the bedroom : there must be an issue with the gray water system or something of that sort. All seats in the livingroom are uncomfortable and none are really suitable for in-house dining: sofa is too hard, the wooden chairs are hard and too low for the dining table, and the high chairs by the kitchen bar are too high for the bar and there's no room for legs either... Please invest in cushions and more adapted seating to make this livingroom more comfortable. The TV in the bedroom wasn't set up nor even plugged in. But that is a minor shortcoming.

Beautiful apartment with surrounding views of the city. Surprisingly quiet give how central the location is.

The hosting was very functional but lacked a bit of warmth.
