Smelt really bad of weed on property and apartment. All the beds mattresses very bad. Fans were making terrible noise during the night like they were going to fall

The rooms were spacious. The price was good considering the size and location.

The outside is a little off-putting as it is a very old building, but they are remodeling, so it has the potential to look beautiful. The rooms are a lot better looking.

This is a good, large apartment for a family. The location is very convenient, close to the downtown area, cafes, and restaurants. We received the entry code and had no problem to enter.

The hotel is located close to a noisy traffic junction. The air conditioner is outdated and does not provide sufficient cooling.

First, let me say that the majority of our issues were not the fault of the owners however, there could have been more disclosed about the condition of the building. Check in was smooth however upon entering the unit we noticed that the fob needed to enter the building after hours was nowhere to be found. Thankfully, the lobby door doesn’t lock (it was broken) so security could let us in. Good to know as we had a concert to attend that night and would be returning after the time the doors should have been locked. As we were leaving for our concert, upon entering the hallway the overwhelming scent of Marijuana emanated from the room across from ours. The door did not keep the smell out of our unit. Then as we approached the elevator, we learned that they stopped working, evidently with people inside! The fire dept was called to get them out. Thank god we weren’t a few minutes earlier or that would’ve been me and my children. As mentioned before we were on our way to a concert and didn’t want to be late so we proceeded to walk down 17 FLOORS in the fire escape only to find that the bottom floors were blocked off! Instead of climbing back up to find access to the fire escape on the other side of the building, we climbing over air ducting and were able to find an exit that was taped off due to the extensive renovations occurring in this location. The stairs were not marked as having no exit at the bottom. A MAJOR fire hazard. I can’t imagine if someone with poor health or physical limitations had to walk that staircase only to learn the exit was blocked. As for the unit, it was fairly clean with the kitchen being the highlight. As mentioned in their write up, air conditioning is remotely controlled so it was a little warm however there were fans in the unit which helped cool everyone down. I may return once all renovations have been completed on the building, but not before. I don’t feel entirely safe traveling here with my family.
