The location is superb. The apartment is very basic but includes everything you need to get by. There was sufficient hot water, and the water pressure was good. The bed is small, but comfortable. The view is magnificent.

The apartment is dated and in need of some upgrading. I found that some of the dishes taken out of drawers or cupboards were dirty. The place was reasonably clean.

Location is perfect

Unit was advertised as housekeeping included, but only to find out there are two different staff at different times, the one takes the trash, the other makes the bed. No one washes the dishes. There was two basic towels on arrival and one was smelling like it didn't dry properly. When we requested new towels after three days, the staff said there isn't. The unit doesn't come with laundry machines either, so we had to take it to a laundromat.

The close proximity to the beach

The unit was very poorly maintained. Rusted doors, gates, fans, kitchen appliances. Balcony door didn't lock. Blanket provided smelt terrible and the bedroom cupboards looks as if rats had eaten the insides. The blanket was covered in wood chips. Lights not working on the balcony. Ballito agencies response to our google review was very dissapointing. They did not attend to issues in a professional manner. Instead took to Google to argue with our review and said they found everything "strange" but I noticed that is their standard response to a lot of other issues previously reported with this unit or their service. Very disgusted with the entire experience.

Only one remote so was difficult to co ordinate a group of adults. The cleaning staff weren’t too friendly even though we were neat, made our own beds. When I asked them if they could please wash the dishes after I noticed that first day they didn’t even though we had stacked them nearly at the sink and they didn’t wash them, so I double checked on the booking app and saw that the staff should clean dishes as long as they weren’t in the apartment for more than 1 hour. The caretaker lady that manages the building always looked stern and we somehow always happened to come across their morning meeting which always appeared to be told off and not giving off team spirit vibes amongst the crew. The apartment could be absolutely fantastic with a fresh more modern look. Decor very outdated. Shower head is super big with great pressure but because th shower is so small the water was overpowering and couldn’t escape from the downpour.
