I stayed at Prince Street Accommodation in Bristol for a conference. I didn't spend much time there, so I was looking for something more affordable but in a an okaish area. The booking process was straightforward, and the system without a reception (using locked key boxes and a PIN) saves money, but also worked smoothly. The first impression was good: the room looked okay, with some decorative touches, and the location is great — very central with many restaurants nearby. Despite the issues (see next chapter), it´s a nice accommodation with clean towels, kitchen (personally haven ´t used it but in case), soap etc. Overall, the stay was acceptable given the location and ease of check-in, but I would advise future guests to carefully document the room at the start of their stay, especially because of the deposit and lack of people who you can directly talk to and show the defects (see next chapter).

As somehow expected (based on other reviews), I did encounter some issues with the condition of the room. For example, there were marks on the walls, a section of wallpaper peeling, staining on the tables, and the shower hose was faulty, leaking water from the side as well as the head. The room is next to a street, however, at nights, it was very load (next to the street) but also felt like if the windows would be open. It turned out that actually one of the windows did not close 100%/properly (also window handle looked damaged), which made the room indeed extra noisy. But this may obviously not account for other rooms I reckon. I think, this also was the reason why the room was maybe a bit colder. However, the heater worked (also super quick), which would be a plus point. Since I had to leave a £150 deposit, which made me concerned that there may be issues, and that's why they ask for it, I took pictures at the beginning from all issues to be on the safe side. I would recommend this to everyone coming here.

Some sort of fan or air conditioning would have been nice
