Central Park Apartments

Mi-a plăcut mult apartamentul - în "buricul târgului", practic în centrul vechi al Braşovului. Se ajunge de aici, extrem de uşor, oriunde. E excelentă locaţia pentru cei care au nevoie şi de transportul în comun. Dar, da.... apartamentul e la demisol, nu se poate spune că "ai vedere", însă ăsta nu l-am considerat deloc un incovenient. E o stradă extrem de liniştită, perfectă pentru un somn odihnitor noaptea.

Nu m-am omorât după atitudinea gazdei. Totul s-a realizat exclusiv prin mesaje - nu m-a deranjat, am luat asta ca pe un demers de discreţie, dar deşi de obicei prefer astfel de locaţii când călătoresc, adică mă cazez frecvent la particulari, nu la hoteluri, încă nu mi s-a întâmplat să mi se ceară - pe un ton chiar imperativ, la finalul sejurului, să las ordine în apartament şi să duc gunoiul la anumite pubele... Nu ştiu ce experienţe a avut gazda înainte, dar... oricum ar fi, cred că - la valoarea de închiriere pe noapte, gazdele ar putea direcţiona înspre personalul de curăţenie această sarcină a gunoiului menajer. Ordine am lăsat - ca de fiecare dată când plec de la o gazdă, dar gunoiul chiar nu m-am străduit să îl arunc, deoarece am plecat extrem de devreme -7,40 a.m. şi riscam să ajung prea târziu la evenimentul pentru care eram în Bv.

Leider nur das Doppelbett im Schlafzimmerbett war vorbereitet zum Schlafen und außerdem gab es keine Reserve Bettwäsche in der Wohnung. Leider die Inhaberin konnte an dem Ankunftstag nicht vorbeikommen. Ich musste selbe Bettwäsche kaufen, dass ich das Bett in der Küche nützen kann.

The fact that it was could (16 degrees outside) and the thermostat did not work. Also, the towels should be replaced- they are worn and gray from so many washes.

Location was good,main reason I booked it

The apartment goes down the stairs, so it has the vibe of a basement, with limited natural light. Big rooms but all dusty, there were spiders and some bugs. The host was never there to explain things, got the info via sms, barely. I mostly guessed how to work the heater and other things. At the end I got a message to clean up and throw away the trash. I did not enjoy my stay, the service was abysmal, the apartment haggard, I wouldn't recommend this.

Location is great, probably one of the best residential pockets in Brasov, close to everything. Parking in front of the house is a big bonus, it’s not easy to park in Brasov. The self check-in was easy, the owner provided detailed instructions. The apartment is roomy, well appointed, not necessarily luxurious but good enough for a short stay. It could be comfortable but…

The apartment is literally a cave, it’s mostly underground, so it’s dark and cold. The temperature was quite uncomfortable even on a hot day. The lights have to be on all the time. I assume this was once a cellar, or a laundry room, or something similar. You’ll survive for a couple of days but, in my opinion, it’s not fit for habitation. The access is tricky, you need to “ballet” around the entry door and the narrow staircase, it will be a struggle if you have a large suitcase. One more thing, if you’re 6’4” or taller, watch out for the ceiling beam in the living room, it can hurt. I was lucky, I just brushed it.
