Apartmány pod Zámkom

Amazing modern decor, terrace out to nice views, kitchen had everything we needed, coffee machine, pods and sugar. Bed and pillows were comfy. Automated blinds kept the rooms dark and cool. Self check in, no staff on site.

Nothing wrong here, the only issue was the bathtub was tall and hard to get out of but that is a personal preference and not a reflection of the apartment or staff. There is no elevator so not suitable for large luggage or people with accessibility issues.

The location was amazing. So close to the town and the castle. Had an incredible view from the balcony. Decor was very tasteful. Beautiful bathroom although shower is handheld so a little awkward. We appreciated the bottle of wine that was provided.

Somewhere to put our suitcases and a mirror in the bedroom would have been nice. Also we had great difficulty finding the apartment. Our satnav sent us through a public car park and then down a narrow lane at the end of the car park. Eventually we figured out how to get to it using a map that the owner sent us when we said we were lost. Would have helped to have the map beforehand.

It was dirty, front door was broken, and cleaner did not provide hand soap and body wash in washroom with bathtub (toilet was separate and did have soap for the adjacent sink). In general, it is poorly maintained and cleaned. An employee came late after emphasizing the need for soap before suggested 10 AM the following morning (we intended leaving a couple hours before that). The employee came in with wet shoes and walked all around the apartment which confirms the state of care and cleanliness by BAK, spol. s.r.o. This is the Art Deco Apartment offered by BAK Apartments (https://www.bak.sk/prenajom-a-ubytovanie/bak-apartments/apartman-art-deco/). The broken door and challenges to get in should be everyone's notice to find different accommodations.
