Great location, well equipped for everything we needed for a 3 night stay

It was quite cold in the apartment of an evening and despite reading the instructions to operate the heating we did not manage to turn it on when it was cold so had to leave it with the timed function. Also not a major factor but toiletries were limited (toilet roll and shower gel) which we were able to buy in the supermarket across the road. Just hadn't taken any with us as it listed them as included.

1) The apartment is located almost directly on the famous Piazza Maggiore, very close to major attractions, excellent restaurants, and lively nightlife spots. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the central station. 2) The apartment looks modern and relatively new (at least theoretically). The building itself is quite nice on the inside. However, the entrance might feel a bit sketchy, as it resembles a less desirable neighborhood, but once inside, it’s actually pleasant. 3) Check-in was easy. We communicated with a representative from the property management company, and he arrived within 5 minutes of our arrival to give us the keys and explain everything. Communication was smooth and straightforward.

While the apartment seems nice at first glance, the owner shows little interest in addressing visitor complaints. There are several easily fixable issues that remain unresolved due to apparent negligence: 1) The shower leaks water, causing the entire bathroom floor to flood. 2) There’s a significant mold issue in the corridor, likely caused by ventilation problems. It seems to be related to the shower leak, as the mold is located near where water accumulates. 3) The toilet is poorly installed and wobbles, making it uncomfortable to use. It’s only a matter of time before it breaks entirely under normal use. 4) The Wi-Fi was functional but unstable. It likely needs a router update or even just a restart, but the owner doesn’t seem to care. 5) The cleanliness was far below standard. There was visible dust everywhere—under the bed, on the wardrobes, and in other hard-to-reach areas. It was so excessive that it seemed the apartment hadn’t been properly cleaned in over a year. Only surfaces like tables and floors appeared to be cleaned. 6) The check-in fee after 10 PM is unreasonably high (€20). After midnight it is even twice higher.

Central location and modern with elevators. Great staff response.

We stayed for 2 nights but was given only 3 satchets of shower gel. The toilet flushed very slowly.

It's a nice place, very close to the centre. The room is clean, beautiful and comfortable, host is very helpful. Would strongly recommend

May be a bit loud outside at the early morning, but it's not a host's fault, but people outside

The apartment had everything needed for a longer stay in Bologna. We were only there for 3 nights. The position was superb, close to all the main sites. We also wanted to check in a little earlier, which was agreed and was most helpful. Very good WiFi and plenty of sockets for equipment.

It wasn’t something we disliked, but as information for future guests. Everything is done via your smartphone, from a video call to check that you were who you said you were to instructions for finding keys, entering the property and using the facilities. All very well done in our case, in English, with photos as necessary. All clear and no problem…… though I guess it could be if your battery is flat!!! . Or you are very unconfident with Tec. As it is in a city block, don’t expect a view other than the block opposite. Which was close enough to see inside. Having to use external shutters to ensure privacy made it a little difficult to have some daylight in the property as well as privacy.
