Appartamenti Ariosti a un Passo da Piazza Maggiore by Wonderful Italy

The Arioste Apartment was fantastic. Located in the very close to the Piazza Maggiore, restaurants, markets and shopping. The room was comfortable, with a kitchenette, table, living area and offset bedroom. Very modern and clean.

Everything was exceptional! Maybe the price a bit high but staff, cleanance, location everything was great!

Please add some more shower gel... Not a reason to give something less than 10/10

Perfect location just off the main road between the railway station and 2 min walk to Piazza Maggiore.. Great communications with management.

The Location

Bed was hard. No blinds at windows so if you opened shutters you had no privacy. No comfy area, like a sofa or armchair. Only the hard bed or 3 fold up chairs. Shower leaked across floor. Toilet seat broken BUT worst of all was the noise outside all night on a Monday. Ok the rest of the time but that 1st night, hotel workers from opposite were rolling cages up & down cobblestones all night. I am not exaggerating. I even recorded the noise. I complained the next day to the Agents & they said they would send me some air plugs. They never responded to my calls after that.

Self-contained apartment within the old town vicinity of Bologna. Close to all the main tourist spots. Very convenient. A 6 minute or 20 minute walk (if you can manage it) from the train station. A multitude of restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets as well as fresh market food stalls. It was superb in that respect.

Getting a little dated. Some marks and mild on the walls. While this apartment was situated in a great area the building itself was located behind the main shopping precinct. Access was via a gated alley and then into the building which overlooked the alley. Very noisy the majority of the time. Shop staff and other people going in and out of the gates and dropping rubbish into the bins. The bed in the apartment was horrendous. Super hard on one side and lumpy on the other. The pillows weren't much better. Sadly I didn't really get much sleep during my entire stay.

location is excellent, just steps from the main square but down a quiet side street. Spacious apartment. Basic amenities provided (bath towels and soap, kitchen dishes, towels, soap, etc.) Large bathroom, good shower.

The bed was not comfortable at all, high in the middle and saggy on the sides. The wifi was intermittent to non existent until we located the router after our first day and reset it. After that wifi was great. Unfortunately all the documents sent to us by the owner including the guide to the apartment were in links that we could not access without the wifi. Overall, apartment was moderately clean but there were some areas that appeared to have been missed. (Bathroom was very clean though.)

Very good location, under minute of walk from the main square. For a location what is that downtown is it super quite. We did travel with a child under 2 and no issues.

Would use a broom or small vacuume cleaner what we did not find. This would be helpful when you stay for more days. Dishwasher was broken, but you find all what you need in the kitchen. Issue for someone may be that there is no way to arrive by car, location is residential only and even drop of by rental car will create a fine. Only way is taxi or public transport.
