A beautiful flat in a central location with everything you could need. Excellent communication with the host.

Spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and conveniently located.

Having only one key made it tricky logistically.

Location was fantastic - the instructions for entry and car park were clear and concise. The apartment was very clean and modern and had all the equipment needed.

A second door key would have been very useful

The property was clean, well lit and had a reasonably well equipped kitchen. The curtains blocked out the light well which was a welcome surprise, so many apartments we have stayed in have really thin curtains and they let all the light in. Despite being close to the train station, we didn't have as much noise as we expected, and in general the apartment was quiet and peaceful, especially considering we were in the middle of Cardiff. The bed was a lot comfier than it looked, and the pillows were good for me, we both slept pretty well considering the new environment. We were able to cook a proper meal, which as someone with coeliac disease is super important, eating out isn't always an option for me. The bath was a good length for me, and the heaters in the bathrooms were a big bonus. The location was perfect for us, all the needed amenities were within walking distance, even for me with arthritis in both hips and other health issues. When we got there there was coffee and tea with some biscuits which was a nice touch even though we couldn't use them (although there was no milk, so we still had to go and get some before we could have a drink). There were fans in every bedroom, which we didn't end up using but we thought were a good idea. We also liked that there were blankets available if we wanted them as all of the beds had been made, not just the one in the biggest bedroom.

These are more suggestions rather than total dislikes, a welcome/instruction booklet or folder would be really good, with instructions for things like the cooker, microwave, heating and water booster, as well as any recommendations for places to eat and numbers for taxi firms etc. I did find the hot water booster but I have seen systems like this before so others may not find it so easily/know how to use it. There were plug in air fresheners which could have triggered my breathing issues, but we turned them off and had no issues, so if you have allergies or breathing issues, just let the hose know and I am sure they can arrange to turn them off before your arrival. I would also suggest some oven gloves and/or thicker tea towels. We ended up buying tea towels because there was nothing to use to get things out of the oven, and we found the tea towel provided left bits over everything. One other suggestion would be some grab rails in the two free standing showers, or a shower seat in one of them (they are small spaces but you can get shower seats that fix to the wall), as these were very slippery and there was nothing to hold on to, as someone who is disabled this was quite dangerous, there was also nothing to put on the floor to step out onto. Just to warn other guests, I did have to kneel on the floor to try and get the key out of the lock box, the owner did warn us its tricky, but we didn't realise quite how tricky. My fiancé is 6ft 4, and I suffer significant mobility issues, so we found it pretty difficult.

Nice location. Next door to the train station. We liked the apartment, very neat and cosy. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The place was home away from home
