Sehr gute Lage, schöne Wohnung.

Leider nicht sehr sauber.

The location is fantastic and the apartment was great.

The noise from the kitchen of the downstairs restaurant was unacceptable and continued into the small hours every night. The sound insulation of the building is very poor and noises reverberated through the building.

Location superb. Spacious. Good hosts.

Owners met us at property and allowed us early access which was very helpful, left us with super information about restaurants etc

The location

It was very basic and needed repainting. The furniture was tired and some places needed a good scrub!

Fantastic location! The kitchen is well equipped, and the apartment is a good size for 4 people. The hosts are easy going and flexible with check in which is nice, we were able to drop our bags off and collect the keys then come back later when the place was ready for us. Also, we forgot to leave the tourist tax and they were very good about letting us pay online afterwards.

Unfortunately, there were not enough towels for all guests and only one small hand towel which was not sufficient for our stay, one person used a bathmat for a towel the entire time, we asked for more but they don’t have enough to cover all of their properties if they are busy, we were told they would try to find some but nothing came through… Two of the beds had couch cushions for pillows and we had to hunt out some pillows in the cupboard but unfortunately, they were old and flat and not comfortable at all. Perhaps because it’s towards the end of summer, the place could do with a deep clean, it’s clean but not super clean, especially in the bathroom / shower. Also something that seems to be a Portugal thing and perhaps not specific to this property is that they only supply 2 rolls of toilet paper, the rest is on you. Given that there was a bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival, I think we would have preferred the money spent on toilet paper and towels as this really detracted from the overall experience. It just lacked the level of attention to detail we were expecting. Also a note for Booking.om, the messages from this property never seem to show up in the inbox, I could only ever find them in my email, they seem quite glitchy.
