Catania appartamento siciliano

The location is very close to the train station and the bus station, which was very good for us, wanting to visit other cities (Taormina, Siracusa). The apartment is a duplex that can accommodate up to 6 people. In 3 we had a lot of space. It has everything you need to cook, the appliances being functional. The apartment was clean and generally well maintained. The beds were comfortable and we liked the furniture and overall design. The host is very welcoming and friendly, we were welcomed with seasonal oranges, croissants, coffee, milk, water and candies. I appreciated the attention, cleanliness and overall communication.

Due to the location on the ground floor of the building, the sounds of night passers-by and means of transport are loud. It would be useful to take earplugs if you have sensitive sleep. Some small things would require additional attention: to change the lighting fixture in the bathroom, the socket in the bathroom where the heater goes in, to check if the water pressure can be increased somehow. Apart from these things, everything seemed fine to us.

The host Sara is very welcoming and nice. The apartment is spacious and very clean, it has all the necessary facilities to feel at home. As the location is in a an area which is not touristic, the lady left us coffee, croissants ( cornetto), milk so we could have breakfast inside.

The location is not prime, actually it is little scary at night and the street Via Archimede is dirty.

The location is great. It is situated about 2 minutes from main railway. The apartment was really nice for that price, also completely equipped, so I felt like at home. I would go there again. Host was kind.

Host does not know any english word, so be prepared to somehow comunicate through hand gestures.

Catania is loud and busy, but when you enter this apartment it is calm and relaxing experience. Sara and here husband are the best hosts. It felt like visiting family. They held a parking place for us right in front of the apartment, they aranged our transport to airport and we felt safe and like home with them around, as you can meet several times a day on the street in front of the apartment. There was a nice coffee machine and breakfast prepared for us in the apartment. We traveled with two kids (1 and 3 years) and the apartment had everything we needed.

There were no kitchen knifes and some more pots would be nice too.

Flat was spacious and super clean, fully equipped with many beds. There was everything that we needed, including the first aid box.

We could hear pedestrians/neighbours talking loudly at the door during the night and we needed to get up early to go to the airport

Great location if you travel by train or bus,since it's located next to the bus station and about 300 m from the train station.The streets outside the house are dirty, but the appartment itself is very clean. The breakfast and coffee is there free to use,so are the drinks in the fridge. The host even gave us box of very good typical Sicilian sweets when we left. Highly recommended.

Fantastic! Apartment had absolutely everything including a washing machines! Street entrance but bedroom upstairs. Sara always on hand for anything you need. Highly recommend.

This place amazing, thanks to Mrs. Sara. Great person who help you with everything. Very kind and generous. The apartment is very well located, close the railway station and bus station, close to the centre and shops. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, I was really surprised. The quality of accomodation is really high, against low price. Don't worry about the language and communication, Mrs. Sara is very open and can operate smartphone and translator.
