Il Centro Storico

The apartment is right in the heart of the old historical centre (3 mins walk to the Duomo) and only 7-8 mins walk from the bus station. The apartment itself was well equipped and although close to numerous restaurants it was very quite. It was very large and well equipped and the hosts were incredibly helpful, friendly and generous.

Great location just a few minutes from the main square .  the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed.  it was very secure, quiet, and private.

The stairs were a little difficult for us with heavy cases.

We did not know there are 2 apartments inside, we got a fright to find someone else next door. Property smelt like a “wet dog” smell would not go! No information provided to us about Catania. Cracked tiles on the floor, old electrically, only place could charge electronics was in the kitchen. Bedroom power points didn’t work even with adaptors.

Excellent location, in the historic center, close to all pedestrian markets and restaurants. Large apartment equipped with everything you need. We were welcomed with muffins, a bottle of wine and a delicious Sicilian red orange jam. You can take Alibus from the airport and it will drop you off a few hundred meters from the apartment. Communication with the host was excellent.

We were 7 people and we would have liked 1 extra bathroom, but I think that does not depend on the owner.

The place is spacious and, well maintained . Location is perfect for visiting Catania. Small details show the care and effort the owner puts in.
