Lillypool Lodges

We loved the lodge it was lovely & clean ,the cafe on site was always busy. we was not far from cheddar gorge.which is always lovely.The tv had Netflix, utube if you did not like what was on tv .a good hot shower x2 tiolets .seating on the veranda to relax on.

The road was very busy & could be quite noisy. on the Thursday the quarry set of an explotion which shook the cabin that was unnerving the roads are hilly so not very good if your are not super fit on your bike.

we liked everything nothing at all to dislike Evan the fact that every thing is upvc apart from things that can’t be ie cooker microwave toilets and the like unusual yes practical definitely

Great location. The spacious living area was brilliant for our toddler twins and all their toys (as was the smart TV!). Comfortable sofa, comfortable beds, good and reliably hot shower.

They do supply the basics, but it would have been useful to have a sieve, some hand soap, and more than just one tea towel.

Bed

Location was excellent. Good facilities onsite I.e cafe and outside space. Very clean property with modern fixtures and fittings. Easy to check in and out.

The only thing I would say is that I asked in advance whether a travel cot was available for us to use. The response I had was ‘we do not supply travel cots’. This is absolutely fine… so we bought our own. Not a problem. However, when we got to the lodge, we found that our standard sized travel cot would not fit into either of the bedrooms.

Read previous reviews….we felt we were the only people there They were no lights on in the other lodges or cottage rooms and no outside lights at all Unable to walk anywhere…Very busy road with no pavements Also we couldn’t get phone signal on site

it’s in a lovely quiet place, it’s clean and tidy, staff are very welcoming. lovely cafe
