Lillypool Lodges

Very nice lodge in a great location and With excellent views.

There wasn’t.

The lodge was cosy. The cafe next door is great. The lodge is right round the corner from the Cheddar Gorge. Plenty of parking.

It was a little small for us with nowhere to put towels after 4 of us had used the shower. The road is a little noisy . There is no electric charge point for an electric car and none in the area. The double bed isn't long enough if you are 6 ft tall!

Lodge was very comfortable for a family of four.Private decking and access to grassed area in front with picnic benches. We were only there for three nights but a very pleasant place to stay within a few minutes drive of Cheddar. Breakfast available in cafe. We had a lodge and our own cooking facilities so only had breakfast in the cafe on one day but this was very good and friendly service.

The oven didn’t appear to work. However, this did not present a problem for us as we had hob and microwave. It may have been us not operating properly, and not reported until leaving. I’m sure if I had reported earlier someone would have looked at it as staff we met were very helpful and friendly.

Thank you for a lovely stay! The caravan is super modern and comfortable with pretty views of the fields and trees around. We visited Wookey Hole and did a walk at Cheddar Gorge.

Great location and the lodge was really nice. Quiet and homely.

I would of liked to have a washing machine in the property or on-site.

Very clean park home accommodation. Cows all around, horses, foxes and rabbits, we even saw a deer. Perfect for a get away, not too far from shops and town so quiet from that aspect. Highly recommend.

Close to a busy road.

We loved the scenic views from the front & rear of the property ( not so much the road noise though! ;) Also the well laid out & very spacious living area & enjoyed making use of the sizeable decking area & the lawn space at the front, where we had a bbq near the very handy picnic tables :) It is lovely area & very close to the beautiful Cheddar!

Whilst we appreciated being advised that the lodge was cleaned & ready for an earlier check-in on the morning of our arrival after a long journey, we were disappointed to find the fridge hadn’t been wiped out & had a very unpleasant mouldy smell, that took some cleaning & spraying before we could use.Also the table & decking area outside needed cleaning & brushing down which we did on arrival. And it’s just unfortunate that the lodges are situated on a main road with a lot of passing lorries.
