Lillypool Lodges

We hired all 3 lodges as 3 families . Lodges were great quality and very clean The added bonus was the fenced grass area in front of the lodges where kids could play while being watched from the deck areas

It was a beautiful, peaceful location very close to Cheddar Gorge. The Lodge was lovely and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we slept really well. We will definitely go back next year.

Nice clean property. Space outside and nice decking.

The mattes was a typical caravan mattress, just a little uncomfortable. A few utensils would have helpful. Other than that it was spot on.

The onsite cafe was very nice and reasonably priced . The caravan was modern and spotless inside . Loved the cows being in the next door field too !!

Only major downside is being caravan , the beds were very uncomfortable , maybe could do with a decent mattress topper if standard mattresses can’t fit ? Also just a minor thing that in no way affected our stay , but would be helpful to have an outside light on the front of the decking for sitting outside in the evening , and also would have like a couple of lamps in the living room /dining area as the overhead lighting is quite harsh , but that’s just personal preference, and didn’t spoil our experience of staying at the lodge !! An iron and ironing board would also be useful , but again not essential , just would have been handy !

The lodge was lovely, I didn't meet Rob who owns the lodge but my husband did and said he was a nice guy, I liked where it was located, quick drive for places to visit and shops.

Nothing.

The location was excellent, with the bonus of the cafe for breakfasts. The property was very clean & well presented

I'd suggest that it would be nice to have some complimentary tea & coffee, there was just a single teabag & somecondiments (sugar, sauces, salt & pepper}

Great little base with all bedding and towels included. Plenty of cutlery and plates etc too, On a very busy road which was a bit noisy, not quite what we expected. Great location tho and a tv that worked

As a couple the double wasn’t very big (we aren’t fat) so our teenage son had that and we had the twin, which was quite small, but fun. Would have been good to have hand soap in the toilets. We just had to use shower gel as hadn’t planned to need that.
