Everything was super! I’m in love with this place. It was very quiet - perfect for people that tired of city noise. Lots of animals around 🥰 Have a bus stops and you possible to go everywhere you want. 100% recommended

The property offered us enough beds for our family of 5. We were able to cook our own meals. The space felt private. The country view was nice.

One of the main reasons we rented this place was because I was told by the owner that it was 30 minutes by bus to the city. That was going to be our only source of transportation. The average time it took us to get in and out of the city of Amsterdam was 1hr and 15 minutes. Sometimes it was closer to 2hours on the weekend. We even tried to get an UBER and no one would pick us up because we were too far out. The cost to the airport for 5 people was 75 euros for a less than 20minute car ride. We would NEVER have picked this location because we knew we needed to be in the city often to meet family. We were also given the wrong transportation pass at the information kiosk in the central station. Use the white building outside of the train station!! We spent a fortune on extra bus rides out of the city. On our first day trying to get to the place after a long day of traveling, we had to walk over an hour with our luggage in the rain because the bus wouldn’t let us on (our children didn’t have their own credit card… because they are children) and it was too far for an Uber. If you are using public transportation and staying here ONLY purchase the red pass that gets you on everything including outside city limits and expect long transportation times. Originally we were told by the owner that to use the bikes that are available at the property would cost us a 750 EURO cash down payment to cover the cost if they got stolen. I told him that was too expensive for us. My husband asked him for help/information about the bus after our troubles on our first day and he said he didn’t know but did offer the bikes for free. Unfortunately we are not from an area that drive bikes so close to cars so we didn’t feel comfortable using them. Aside from the transportation issues, be prepared for lots of bug bites.

Well equipped and comfortable. We were 5 friends and slept in a double bed, a double sofabed and a single bed. The surroundings are beautiful and the neighbourhood is pretty calm and somehow scenic. It was great to get to see this kind of environment, which doesn't feel like the typical Amsterdam.

It was not an issue for us, but it seems like you would need a car to stay here. There is free parking inside the property, next to the house.

Excellent Location - 10 minutes to P+R and then 2 stops by Metro and you are In Amsterdam. Very beautiful village, we enjoyed the nature every moment. 6 minutes drive and you are making shopping in 2 grocery stores . And they are opened even on Sundays!!! Kitchen is fully equipped, everything is new !!! We were offered to use 4 bicycles for free. Parking was in front of the house. The house was decorated in Holland style , even bed linen had nice Amsterdam views. We watched Netflix Mr. Aloys sent us all instructions in advance and met us when we arrived. We recommend this property to everyone!!!

Bathroom is located in the bedroom, for us it was not an issue as we were family members, but could be a problem for a group of people.

The location is great. It is a village with a nice nature and a view from the terrace. And at the same time very easy to get to Amsterdam in 30-40 minutes.

Mosquitos :) It is not the fault of the host apparently but since the house and the village are surrounded by the water there were very many of them. But when we bought proper repellents, the problem was solved, they never bothered us again.

Loved the view, the balcony,the free bicycles and the nice kitchen.

Aloys was very nice, he explained how to get to the house and came to greet us. The house was very cozy, modern and with everything you need. It was located in a quiet and very beautiful place. Well connected to visit Amsterdam or other surrounding towns such as Edam, Volendam, Alkmaar, Zaanse Schans... We recommend it.

A wonderful place away from the center where you can relax after exploring Amsterdam. An ideal place for cycling trips. Lovely neighborhood.
