Amsterdam Countryside met Airco ,Geweldig uitzicht, luxe keuken,wasmachine,droger,gratis fietsen

Everything was just great !!! Location in the countryside near natural parks, lots of amazing bike routes or hiking, easy to reach Amsterdam by bike (don't know about transport didn't use it), quiet, great canals view, safe, parking available and the apartment just great with everything on it. Great wi-fi, big tv with lots of channels, great outdoor garden, terrace, lots of space for storage indoor or outdoor (ex. bikes...). Shops and restaurants (including delivery) nearby with everything you need (3 min by car 10min by bike). Central heating and AC available. Great host, very friendly welcomed us with a great welcome pack (wine, beer.. :) ). Coffee machine just great with a pack of coffee tablets welcomed. We'll definitely return !!!

Maybe one small thing: not so easy to keep the same temperature of the shower..

Location was idyllic. View over surrounding countryside was lovely. Lots of wildlife (ornithologists will love it) to see plus donkeys, pigs, chickens and horses. Further from the centre of Amsterdam than we thought (about 12 km) so we found best way to visit was pre book parking in centre of Amsterdam ( oosterpark 10 to 15 euros a day)- easy to get to. Coffee machine broke but Aloys supplied us with replacement immediately. Wine and beer supplied on arrival which was a nice touch. Property was very clean and very comfortable especially the beds (we all slept like logs). TV good in evening with some English channels. Hosts were both very friendly and always willing to help.

Some might find a bit isolated - you really need a car. For us, it was just right. Outside stairs to enter property could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

The accommodation was absolutely luxurious. We will definitely come back here sometime. The owner, Aloys, was very pleasant and caring. Thank you very much for the gift and hospitality. We had everything we needed, there were plenty of towels, kitchen equipment, spices, teas and coffees in the house. There were even bathrobes in the house, which pleasantly surprised us. We also had free bikes at our disposal, which was also a huge plus. They weren't in 100% condition, but after pumping them up, they served their purpose beautifully. The journey to Amsterdam took about 30-40 minutes. Overall, the surroundings of Amsterdam are beautiful and we didn't regret for a second that we didn't stay in the city center.

The apartment is nicely furnished and comfortable. The appliances are new and modern. I especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside and being away from the business of downtown. The landscape is definitely different from what we're used to, which is nice to experience! It's about a 10 minute drive the Noord Park and Ride where you can hop on a 6 minute Metro and be downtown; this was very convenient! Or, it's about a 20 minute drive to downtown, which is close, but finding parking will be challenging.

We showed up when it was already dark and it was difficult to identify the location of the apartment; it's tucked off the main street, behind a house. The address listed on Booking.com, or perhaps the addresses format, didn't work well with Google Maps. It would have been easier to find during daytime. The host can consider providing a screenshot of the property's location to future guests.

No instructions in English, for the appliances. The host was in the adjacent house, but we didn’t realise that. If we had known that, we could have resolved any problems quickly. He was helpful when we finally realised who he was.
